The upcoming 2026 NSI-ECRN Conference, “Emerging Minds, Exploration of Brain Health”, will take place on 12th-13th August 2026 at University College Dublin. This two-day event will bring together early career neuroscience researchers from across Ireland.
The conference will feature a dynamic programme including research posters and oral presentations, keynote and invited talks from internationally recognised scientists, and interactive sessions focused developing key skills. These sessions include public science communication, navigating -omic datasets and statistical analysis, and integrating PPI and DEI into research. Attendees will also benefit from dedicated social and networking opportunities.
This conference offers a platform to showcase and celebrate the work of early career researchers while supporting professional development, career advancement and research skill enhancement. Ultimately, it aims to foster the continued advancement of neuroscience and brain health research in Ireland.
Conference registration will be available from 10am on Wednesday August 12th in the foyer of the Conway Institute in the UCD Belfield campus, with sessions beginning at 11am.
We also are excited to announce that there will be an NSI-ECRN social mixer taking place in the UCD Clubhouse bar on August 12th at 5pm, after day 1 of the conference!
For anyone who has been offered on campus accommodation for August 12th, check-in is available at the Welcome Desk of the UCD Village Residences building from 3pm on August 12th, however bags can be stored here beforehand. Please see map attached to find this building, in addition to the Conway Institute.
