To celebrate the career of Prof. Ciaran Regan, a two day symposium will be held in UCD in his honour. Prof. Regan will give the keynote address along with two sessions (on neuroplasticity and Neural Cell Adhesion Molecule, NCAM) featuring a number of international and national speakers including Prof. Richard Morris, Prof. Melitta Schachner, Prof. Trevor Robbins, Prof. Michael Rowan, Prof. Marina Lynch and Prof. John O’Keefe, who recently shared the Nobel Prize for Physiology or Medicine with Prof. May-Britt Moser and Prof. Edvard I. Moser for their work on spatial learning and memory.
