Minds Matter: Understanding and Protecting your Brain

Are you interested in hearing from leading Irish experts about the latest research on understanding your brain and lifestyle factors that can protect it?

To coincide with the launch of the EU wide “Under the Umbrella” campaign aimed at raising awareness of brain conditions, the NAI and the Irish Brain Council have organised a FREE evening lecture on Tuesday 15th March in Trinity College Dublin entitled “Mind Matters: Understanding and Protecting Your Brain”.

The speakers are Professor Sabina Brennan (creator of the Hello Brain health promotion campaign), Dr Niall Pender Senior Clinical Neuropsychologist in Beaumont Hospital and Professor Tim Lynch Consultant Neurologist from the Mater Hospital Dublin.

Neuro-aesthetics Seminar at DIT, March 10th

Dear Sir/Madam,
The Graduate School of Creative Arts and Media (GradCAM), DIT are arranging a short term reading group seminar on neuro-aesthetics.
We are bringing together researchers interested in neural, cognitive and behavioural sciences and the philosophy of aesthetics to commence an exploration of the thematics of neuro-aesthetics. Researchers in the fields of science, art and philosophy will converge upon this common interest with the hope of a lively and valuable multi-disciplinary engagement.
There will be two meetings with a 6 week interval for us to engage with the readings via this online blog: https://neuroaestheticsgradcam.wordpress.com/  The first will be held on March 10th, 4pm – 6pm, room; NA003, Grangegorma campus, DIT.
