Neuroscience Ireland would like to congratulate the recent success of Prof. Gary Donohoe (Psychology NUI Galway and NCBES Galway Neuroscience Centre) in securing a European Research Council (ERC) starting grant.

Reminder: Travel Bursaries Deadline 31st of May

Dear NSI Members,

This is a reminder that the 1st call of 2015  for Neuroscience Ireland Travel Bursaries deadline is fast approaching.  Do not miss the opportunity to apply!

The deadline for this call is the 31st May 2015.

These bursaries are awarded to post-graduate and post-doctoral members of NSI whose work has been accepted for presentation at an international conference. These bursaries are valued at up to €300 each and there are three grants available.  Bursaries are awarded to post-graduate and post-doctoral members of NSI whose work has been accepted for presentation at an international conference six months ahead and after the deadline.

The application form can be downloaded by clicking the link below.  Please complete the form, include evidence of acceptance of your abstract for either a talk or oral presentation, and submit to the neuroscience Ireland gmail account. Please include “Travel bursary application” and your name in the title.  E-mail completed applications to: neuroscience.ireland@gmail.com
